Map of Egypt Hurghada
After residing in several Mercure resort hotels in Cairo, Aswan and Luxor, I was dissatisfaction by the barrage of sales representatives hounding me at Mercure in Hurghada. After a couple of weeks exploring Egypt, I became ready to relax by the stunning share. Alas, there clearly was hardly ever a calm minute as I was approached because of the following individuals attempting to sell me something: Fun Fly (for a snorkeling excursion), the Beauty Salon for manicures/pedicures, the salon for assorted remedies, a gal attempting to sell expert photography, the team attempting to sell horse and camel trips - and, we couldn't stroll into the beach without being pounced on because of the guy attempting to sell sand containers. I realize tourism is low that people are trying to make a living. However, they certainly were exceptionally aggressive and approached myself several times once I had stated no. In addition, all prices are negotiable - this reminded me personally of this commercial "imagine if you had to get every thing the way you purchase a used automobile". They also haggled throughout the price of Halawa. This definitely impacted the peace and harmony of an all comprehensive resort stay.
